FAQs

Shipping & Delivery
How long will my order take to arrive?
Prints are made to order and ship directly from my professional print partner. Most orders arrive within 5–10 business days. Handmade home goods, original artworks and limited edition prints ship from Ontario and typically arrive within 5–7 business days.
Prints are fulfilled through a separate studio and will ship independently from home goods and original paintings. You’ll receive tracking details for each parcel.
Yes — free shipping is available when your order reaches: $150+ CAD within Canada; $200+ CAD for U.S. orders. Orders below these thresholds are charged a flat shipping rate ($15 in Canada and $20 in the U.S.).
At this time, I ship only within Canada and the U.S. If you’re outside these regions and interested in ordering — especially original artwork — please reach out. I hope to expand soon and can often arrange custom shipping for special pieces.
Yes — you’ll receive tracking details for each item once shipped.
Fine Art Prints
Each print is created using professional 12-colour giclée technology on premium fine art paper, resulting in rich colour depth, smooth gradients, and beautiful detail.
Colours may vary slightly based on your device, but prints are calibrated for accurate, true-to-life tones.
Prints are sold unframed so you can select a frame that best suits your space.
Some sizes require slight cropping due to aspect ratios. Sizes that display the full artwork are noted on each product page. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out before placing your order!
Open editions are always available. Limited editions are produced in small, numbered runs and will not be restocked. Originals are one-of-a-kind artworks created by hand.
Original Paintings & Limited Edition Prints
Yes — all original paintings are sealed with a professional varnish to protect against dust and UV exposure.
Yes — all original paintings and limited edition prints are signed, and each one includes a certificate of authenticity.
Display out of direct sunlight if possible, dust gently with a soft cloth, and avoid moisture or chemical cleaners.
Yes — all originals come framed in a handcrafted red oak frame, made in Ontario, Canada. Finishes vary by piece, and the frame shown in the product listing reflects the exact stain and finish you will receive.
Home Goods & Handmade Items
While many pieces are handmade by me, I also carry a curated selection of home goods from other brands. These items are thoughtfully sourced and chosen for their craftsmanship, quality, and alignment with the Laura Rees Art brand.
Yes. Variations in stitching, placement, or finish are expected and part of the charm of handmade goods.
Machine wash cold, tumble dry low or hang to dry. Press as desired for a crisp, smooth finish.
Vintage & Thrifted Items
Vintage and thrifted items are sourced secondhand. Pieces labeled as vintage are estimated to be at least 20 years old, while thrifted pieces are selected for their character, design, and timeless appeal rather than a specific era.
Each piece is thoughtfully sourced and selected for quality, craftsmanship, and character, with the intention of offering items that feel special, timeless, and meant to be used and enjoyed.
Vintage and thrifted items may show gentle signs of wear consistent with age and use. Any notable imperfections will be clearly noted in the product description.
Yes. Due to their nature, all vintage and thrifted pieces are one-of-a-kind and cannot be restocked.
Vintage and thrifted items are final sale. Please review product photos and descriptions carefully, and feel free to reach out with any questions before purchasing.
Candles
Yes — each candle is made in small batches using natural soy wax and high-quality fragrance oils.
Trim the wick to ¼” before each burn and allow the wax to melt fully across the top to prevent tunnelling.
A longer first burn (2–3 hours) helps prevent tunnelling. If tunnelling does occur, you can carefully warm the surface with a heat gun or hairdryer on low to even out the top layer.
Returns & Refunds
Because prints are made to order, many items are produced in small batches, and original paintings, vintage, and thrifted pieces are one-of-a-kind, all sales are final. That said, if your order arrives damaged, please reach out within 7 days at hello@laurareesart.com. I truly want you to love what you receive and will do my best to make things right.
Once production has begun, orders cannot be cancelled — but reach out as soon as possible if you need help.
Gift Cards
Yes — digital gift cards are available and are delivered instantly by email.
Gift cards can be used on anything in the shop, and can also be applied toward a commissioned painting.
Gift cards never expire.
Commissions & Custom Work
Yes — I take on a limited number of commissions throughout the year. Please reach out through the Contact page to share what you have in mind.
Some requests may be possible depending on the piece. Feel free to inquire and we can discuss!
