Refund policy

 

Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for supporting Laura Rees Art. Each piece is created with care — whether it’s a fine art print, an original painting, or a handcrafted item. The following policy outlines how returns, exchanges, and order issues are handled.



All Sales Are Final

Because our products include made-to-order prints, original artwork, and handmade goods, we do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for reasons such as:

  • change of mind

  • colour or size preference

  • ordering the incorrect item

Please review product descriptions, dimensions, and size guides carefully before purchasing.

 


 

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will gladly replace it.

To qualify for a replacement:

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:

  • your order number

  • a brief description of the issue

  • clear photos of the damage, defect, or packing error

Once verified, we will arrange a replacement at no additional cost to you. In some cases, we may request that the item be returned or disposed of, depending on the situation.

 


 

Print-on-Demand Orders (Gelato)

Prints produced through our print partner are made to order. For damaged or incorrect prints:

  • We will submit a claim with our production partner

  • A free replacement will be issued once approved

  • You will not be required to return the damaged print

Please report issues within 7 days with photos, as production partners will not accept claims after that window.

 


 

Lost or Missing Packages

If your package appears lost:

  • Please allow up to 7 days beyond the expected delivery date for delays

  • Check with neighbours, building staff, or postal offices

  • If the package is confirmed lost, we will assist in filing a carrier claim

Replacements may be issued at our discretion once the carrier determines the package cannot be recovered.

 


 

Shipping Address Errors

Please double-check your shipping information before completing checkout.

If you entered an incorrect address:

  • Contact us immediately

  • If the order has not shipped, we’ll update the address

  • If the order has already shipped, we are unable to redirect it

Packages returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address may be reshipped at the buyer’s expense.

 


 

Colour Accuracy & Image Representation

Colours may vary slightly due to:

  • screen settings

  • printing processes

  • paper texture

  • natural variations in handmade items

These variations are not considered defects and are not eligible for return.

 


 

Original Artwork & Handmade Items

Original pieces and handmade goods (such as textiles or ceramics) may include natural variations, surface textures, or small imperfections inherent to the creative process. These characteristics are part of the artwork’s uniqueness and are not considered defects.

 


 

Cancellations

Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been processed or sent into production. Most print-on-demand items enter production within hours of purchase.
